Veteran – After School Snack

 I love when my KIDS are hungry!

I know that might sound silly…and there are times when the words “I’m Hungry” don’t come at a convenient time.

BUT- when my kids tummies are TRULY HUNGRY- is the best time for me to bring out the HEALTHY stuff.  And luckily- this “HUNGER” time naturally happens almost everyday- RIGHT AFTER SCHOOL.


This past week- I have found that my kids eat the BEST when I have it ready for them right when they walk in…

Here is an example of a healthy snack that my kids devour…

Cucumbers and Carrots with a “Healthier” dressing

Celery and Peanut Butter

Fresh Fruit (Grapes, Apples, Oranges, etc.)

Almonds and Chocolate Chips.
