Dressing/Sauce [DS]

Vegan [V]

2 cups fresh basil (packed)

1/3 cup pine nuts (but I usually replace these with walnuts)

4 cloves of garlic

Put all of these in a food processor.

Once blended well slowly drizzle in

1/2 olive oil while the processor is on.

Most pestos include parmesan cheese which

could be added if desired (about 1/2 cup)

salt and pepper to taste
