Bean Tacos

Black or Pinto beans- mashed

romaine lettuce- chopped

tomatoes- chopped

1 lime

1 tsp cumin

1 TBSP green chili sauce

5  yellow corn taco shells -low soduim (less sodium than calories per serving) 

Mix together mashed beans with cumin and green chili sauce, squeeze lime over mixture and stir. Place bean mixture in the bottom of the taco then add lettuce and tomatoes for topping.

*you can also chop cilantro, red peppers, garlic cloves and onions to add to the bean mixture.

This recipe is a kid friendly and a favorite at our house.
